Malgr\u00e9 toute son exp\u00e9rience, Maud Graham a toujours de la difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 accepter que ces cas inexpliqu\u00e9s fassent partie du m\u00e9tier. Surtout que, dans une ville paisible comme Qu\u00e9bec, les actes criminels ne sont pas l\u00e9gion. N\u00e9anmoins, de nouveaux indices viennent remettre \u00e0 l\u2019avant-plan un meurtre et une disparition survenus des ann\u00e9es plus t\u00f4t et pour lesquels ni coupables ni motivations n\u2019avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 trouv\u00e9s.
